Swansea is popular for its water sports, beaches and the abundance of marine life including a virtually unlimited species of fish. It is also at the northern end of the Wallarah National Park with cliff top walks through natural beauty. Swansea is located 140kms north of Sydney and was named on October 7th 1887. It was originally called Pelican Flat and was developed for the lake export trade. The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm for 7:00pm at the Swansea Bowls Club, Charles Street, Swansea. The meetings normally feature a guest speaker from our local community and all visitors are most welcome. Please contact Brian on (612) 0412307451 or email dataedge2@bigpond.com for more information.
